Now that we've all agreed that Mercer should be the next classified figure, here's my pitch for why the Bridge Layer should be the next classified vehicle.
First, the Bridge Layer has more display possibilities than any other vehicle of similar size. You want it cruising around? Bridge on top. You want it laying the bridge? Can do. You want it driving over the bridge blasting away at the hiss tank, it can do that too! It can even lay a bridge for the hiss tank to drive over. So many bridge options! So here's my feature list for the Bridge Layer Early Bird Special * Brownshirt male combat engineer figure Base Vehicle * Bridge Layer vehicle * TollBooth figure and accessories (sledge hammer, smg, shovel, pick) * Servo-driven bridge-laying action * Working electronic lights * Two pivoting side cannons * Tow hook * Recovery straps and tow points that will be comptabile with future vehicles like the Wolverine * Working tank treads * Opening storage compartment for storing accessories like rifles * Holds two figures in individual, side-by-side armored entrance points * Front-mounted, removable grenades and tubes * Removable panels to view engine detail Tier 1 Unlock - Make it an engineering vehicle * Attachable bulldozer scoop * Attachable, working crane hoist (swaps out with one of the two-axis cannons) Tier 2 Unlock * Brownshirt female combat engineer with concertina wire, wirecutters and satchel charge Tier 3 Unlock * Towable fuel/water trailer with working hose and nozzle See how happy this kid is playing with his Bridge Layer? That could be you! Last edited by MammothFan; 10-16-2022 at 12:23 AM.. |

No, for several reasons.
Likely candidates for mid-size in order, imho: VAMP Snow Cat Thunder Machine, though the Marvel car HasLab failing may put a dent in this idea If you're going to go up a level in size then HAVOC is far more appealing than Bridge Layer. The Bridge itself would cost $149.99 in today's pricing. Continued inflation and high petroleum prices are going to make the next Joe HasLab a lot tricker than the HISS, which was the only real no-brainer option. Of the three above I'd want the Snow Cat most. |

My pick would be the Mobat based on the MPF:
Mobat or Mauler based on the Abrams X:

What gets the M.O.B.A.T. and Dragonfly over in the initial offering of either of these two items is the crossover appeal of the M.O.B.A.T. being a basic tank and the Dragonfly being a helicopter, in addition any "bells," and "whistles," that Lenny and HasLab folks add to it. The Vamp is the tricky one because I stated in How Could A Vamp HasLab Avoid The Fate Of Marvel Legends HasLab Engine of Vengeance?(https://(https://www.hisstank.com/fo...vengeance.html) the Vamp at the end of the day is just a car (and as the Hell Charger has proven,) car HasLabs need to be move than a car with working lights. The Vamp HasLab initial offering has to be this. With functional lights, a working winch, the machine gun, a H.A.L., possibly a windshield and possibly expanding the Vamp include a backseat. The figure included of course would be Clutch, with the early bird being tan Clutch or red pads Grandslam.

While the bridge layer is a fun vehicle, I expect to see something more popular like a Mobat, Vamp or Vamp II.

Dragonfly might be too much price-wise. Hard to say how they'd cost it out. It would be really long, too. Vamp is the obvious top choice to counter the HISS. As the HISS proved the more cool interactive features, the better. That said I don't think Hasbro can sell as many Vamps as they did HISS Tanks. |

Which is the very reason they might do it. The M.O.B.A.T. has a lot of crossover appeal to those who don't even collect G.I. JOE

That wholly depends on the initial offering and the stretch goals. Now would a Vamp HasLab move as many units as quickly as the H.I.S.S. Tank project? No, I don't think so.

A VAMP Haslab would be popular but I can't imagine they can add enough of anything to it to sell at the same price as the H.I.S.S. I did read most of your thread and there were a lot of good points made for and against. For me it would make more sense to not try and overdo it with tiers, but keep it simpler and offer two of them in one sale if they think it can be in the $300 price range.
Oh, sorry Mammoth, also a hard disagree on Bridgelayer. |
