In this tutorial Markis shows how to give your Classified figures the ability hold the pistols in a combat grip. From the beginning to 6:30 of the clip.

Since this fix is so simple it seems like something that could be implemented in the next production run of figures. However, this is Hasbro we're talking about and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if corporate doesn't want the figures to be able to hold the "blasters," in a combat grip or shoulder the "blasters," properly.

I'd like to try it...but the last time I tried customizing with my Dremel, I drilled right up the neck and out the top of Rey's head!
I guess it looks cool for a "What if Kylo Ren impaled her?" |

I'll add that if anyone attempts this mod DO NOT REMOVE THE BUTTERFLY JOINT. It is the biggest pain in the ass to reinsert the mushroom peg into the torso. The one time I accidentally removed one I wanted to just chuck the entire figure.

I plan on eventually sending this to Lenny, (and I think that Markis already did.) If it gets out that giving the figures the ability to achieve a combat grip is such an easy fix them the fandom is going to wonder why it isn't being done in production.
Also, the figures being able to do a combat grip shouldn't just be confined to the Classified Series but it should implemented for the Black Series, Legends, The Lighting Collection, and the Indy line. However, this Hasbro, Inc. we're talking about and there isn't even a company standard regarding ball pegs for heads and cardstock for packaging, let alone one for articulation. Plus you can assume that management may "feel some kinda way," about the figures holding their firearms properly. Quote:
Also, before Bobby dropped his v2 Sarge he even recommended against swapping out Kerak's arms to put on Sarge. If a trained professional is saying only experienced customizers should "fool," with the butterfly joints, then I know I have no business trying to fuck with it.

Every time I see customizers show off their work it make me wish that I would have taken arts & crafts more seriously in elementary school. Though it seems simple enough I just don't trust myself not to fuck up one of my figures. I have the worst fuckin' luck and I can't leave something like that to chance. With that being said, I REALLY want my Classified figures to have a combat grip.

Also, this topic reminded me of this scene from 'Trading Places.' Not sure if any of you guys remember this movie from the early 80s.
