The VAMP is roughly the same size/complexity to the HISS.
I think the THEORETICAL limit to retail vehicles is stuff like the Armadillo, Ferret, and Sky Hawk. Past that, you're looking at exclusive or Haslab.

They keep saying HasLabs are for DREAM projects so get used to crazy high prices with LED's on everything. I doubt they'd do cheaper $1xx.99 stuff. There's no such thing as win-win situation.

For a Mauler HasLab, I was going to suggest Heavy Metal, Sunbow Covergirl, and Sunbow Steeler. Steeler is driving a Mauler at the beginning of Worlds Without End. Then maybe Sunbow Breaker and Rumbler. I have to think about the character selection more to see if they'd all look good together in a set.

It would absolutely HAVE to come with a towable to justify a high price tag.

They added a normal robby head and hood for the gr haslab. Guess hemorrhaging 7 hundred backers in a week isn't the direction they were hoping for.

Which is going to encourage people to not jump at the early bird specials if they are essentially getting the parts anyway.

Without knowing the timeline of when other HasLabs met their stretch goals. I think it's fair to say if the fandom thought the Hell Charger was a good dollar value we would either be at or on well on the way to the campaign achieving it's second stretch goal. Quote:
Of course the figures included wouldn't be Recondo and Mutt. This is purely conjecture on my part because I don't know the numbers. If the initial offering of a Vamp HasLab priced $325 which included the Vamp with electronics, a working wench, the H.A.L., a windshield, Clutch, red pads Granslam I think that would be a good dollar and incentive enough to get cats to back the project.

Would make it the fastest selling HASLAB yet
I don't think that the HISS was a fluke at all. Yes, it was expensive and initially over-priced as a base offering - But it was an iconic Cobra vehicle offered in a brand new scale with, at first, 2 figures (total of 4 in the end) and numbered for fans that needed that complete checklist. It has Army-Builder potential, looks really, REALLY nice - and it caught GI Joe Classified at a time when the brand was exploding in popularity (they couldn't make figures fast enough for the fandom) People that say it was a fluke don't give the GI Joe Team enough credit. They knew exactly what they were doing with the HISS |
