I've got a few:
1. G.I. Joe was a soldier in the 60's, and an adventurer in the 70's. 2. Since 1982, G.I. Joe is the code name for America's daring, highly trained, special mission force. Its purpose: To defend human freedom against Cobra, a ruthless, terrorist organization determined to rule the world. 3. The original team of 13 Joes all came from the U.S. Army, but the team has expanded to over 200 G.I. Joe team members, from all branches of the U.S. military, and even a few from other countries. Each Joe has his or her own code name and unique set of specialties. 4. Cobra has grown to over 50 unique agents and over 100 troop types, and has sometimes hired outside groups like the Dreadnoks biker gang or Destro's Iron Grenadiers. 5. Marvel published a G.I. Joe comic that lasted 12 years (155 issues, plus over 30 spin-off issues). The first 100 issues or so are great. Most fans acknowledge a decline shortly after that. The death of several Joes in issues 109 - 113 (around the time of the real-world "Operation Desert Storm") caused several fans to drop the book. 6. The Sunbow cartoon was for kids, but most adult fans still love it, even if they won't admit it. 7. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle. |

The sillier aspects of Joe are something a lot of people think should be dropped, and it always strikes me as a mistake. Because without that stuff, the whole thing becomes a really generic "soldiers vs terrorists" story that appeals to almost no one.
The original series, both the show AND the comic, had a ton of sci-fi, and melodrama, and weird characters that don't make much sense outside of it's world. And that's OK! It adds flavor to something that would be pretty bland without it. Just don't go full Cobra-La with it and it will be fine, haha. |

The one thing i think is customizing and using a random Gi Joe to pilot any vehicle in any dimension swapping any weapon .Dont forget that Gi Joe is the first action figure of all time...

It's a very sci-fi, Alienesque part of the Joeverse that I happen to enjoy. A Classified Golobulus, Nemesis Enforcer, Royal Guard or Pythona would absolutely rock.
