I haven't uploaded a video in a while and I decided to start back with a video showing my appreciation for the GI Joe Brand Team.
I personally think they have done an outstanding job with Classified and I would like to thank them. In a world where negativity seems to reign supreme and gets views I wanted to do something positive. |

I strongly support this movement. To Lenny, Emily, and rest the JOE team I greatly appreciate the time and effort that you guys put into bringing us these superior products. A special thanks goes to Emily because of the enthusiasm that you put into your job and going the extra mile to learn all you could about G.I. JOE when you were brought to the team.
I don't expect the people on the brand to have been lifelong fans, but I do expect them to do what Emily did which is fully embrace and immersed themselves in the line and it's history and show the brand and it's fans the same amount of respect that Emily did.

I don't have any issue with how Emily and Lenny have done things. My issue is with Hasbro's logistics.

The recent Roundtable Q&A was a particular highlight. Thanks to the team for the amazing product and for being so transparent about what's coming up as well as some of the issues the line still faces. |

Great job improving the line! It has really turned the corner. Also, please hire Larry Hama as a spokesman for the brand. He is only the most culturally significant Japanese-American of the 1980s and a primary developer of the entire franchise. Not only that, he was on MASH, was a Broadway singer, and played at CBGBs!
Did you know, internationally famous Korean American artist David Choe, the wealthiest artist in the history of the world, got his start in art by tracing Hama Joe comics? Even Choe doesn't know those comics were drawn (laid out) by a Japanese American. He and the famous Korean American Chef Dave Chang lamented on the lack of impactful Asian American creatives. Well guess what, Larry Hama is a culturally significant Asian American creative. Maybe the most?!? You guys could set up a three person interview. I am sure they would have much to discuss. This is a big deal, and I am happy to stand on a soapbox. Source on Choe and Chang: https://www.theringer.com/2018/8/30/...ells-his-story

They deserve the credit. I know it?s a foreign concept to some people but they need to show some respect and appreciation for the GI Joe Brand Team and acknowledge the amazing job they are doing. In two years of a new scale GI Joe line we have seen a massive $300 HISS Tank receive nearly 20000 orders. Regardless of your opinion about it being crowd funded, the team made it happen. I am grateful for Emily, Lenny, Tony, Cory, Fred A and everyone else involved in bringing us this amazing toy line. |
