As long as the community is clear, Sunbow, Hama-Verse, DDP, IDW and so forth... information is the point of wiki. So dumb.

From which continuity source did the idea spring forth that these two characters share a secret language?

From Hasbro Heroes Sourcebook #3, in their biographies. Please don't tell me it's not canon because it's not Larry. It develops their twinship in a believable way where there was nothing developed before.

So, if another comic licence owner created a rift between them, where Zandar hated Zarana and actively wanted to kill her, you'd be ok with that, because it's developing their characters?

Like, Hama didn't come up with Flint and Lady Jaye as a couple, but it exists across all media pretty much.

I wouldn't be okay with it because it's just more of the same apart-from-Zarana stuff we've experienced fraom writers who have written them. I'm hoping we actually see them developed together, not set apart. But it's never going to happen.

I'm tired of writers neglecting Zandar & Zarana or only developing them 'away' from each other. A writer develops them together even in bio form and <nastiness erased> there are complaints it's not legitimate enough.

Yeah, there are some uniform consistencies and that's a good thing. Different creators have different ideas of where to go with characters, though... that's why I prefer an official canon, whichever it may be. It makes it easier to discuss the continuity. I'm sure there are people in here who never read the Marvel comics, just as I never read the DDP or IDW (non-Hama) comics, so we have different ideas of what the characters personalities are. It's just my personal preference. I don't expect everyone to agree.

I didn't read the IDW series, but from what I did see in the Hasbro Heroes Sourcebook, it sounds like they were developed together? Is that accurate? Or is that the same series where Zarana was glued to Zartan's hip? Can't remember if you said that was DDP or IDW...
