Wait really? I was always under the impression that the New 52 was Geoff Johns' baby given that he wrote Flashpoint which establishes the DCnU and he wrote the stories which created the retcons people hated. I know Jim Lee helped sell it with that Justice League poster he illustrated to promote the New 52. I guess he could've made a lot of behind-the-scenes decisions like bringing the Wildstorm characters into the main DC Universe. I was under the impression this was a direction Johns took the universe in. As for Dan DiDio, I'm not entirely familiar with his contributions.

nope. johns was flashpoint, and after flash came out of it and forgot everything that happened, and booster gold got out of it (dude's literal job is to time travel and fix the multiverse) and forgot about it - dc comics in it's entirety became new 52 which is lee's vision to get his wildstorm characters into regular dc comics (didnt last). the company whittled down the books to 52 books a month (didnt last). brought creative team from image in the 90's (liefeld, etc. didnt last).
Johns was brought around again to fix it because every idea they threw at it wasnt keeping. they still havent abandoned it all together. |

Honestly, as long as the Joe line continues in some form of 3.75-4 inch figures with an occasional vehicle thrown to us; I’m just glad the patient is alive.
