Hello.
(Not sure if I could post it in the IDW discussion) For anyone getting into the marvel comics run of GI Joe is it best to get the GiJoe Vol 1 or GI Joe the complete collection. Not wanting to get it the 'Cobra' way just wondering what would be the best way to read the complete run? |

The Complete Collection hardcover editions are really gorgeous. They look great on a shelf and have all sorts of supplemental material. However, it seems they are not being continued, so those of us who hoped to have the full run on their shelves are going bald and wake up at three a.m. with night terrors or in tears.
The paperbacks are cheaper, and if you are a bibliophile, they are easier to page through again and again. I just gave volume 1 to my nephew last night, and I got it at an IDW sale for pennies. However, volume 2 seems pricey. |
