I think you can stick a suppressor on anything. How much it actually SUPPRESSES the noise, is questionable. I mean, guns are LOUD and suppressors only do so much unless you're using sub-sonic ammo and even then you don't get the thwip-thwip of Hollywood Silencers.

So here is a question. Or a couple.
Is the type of suppressor that Stalker comes with designed to do something different to a regular suppressor or is it just a different style? And can you even suppress a Machine gun like Stalkers our Outbacks? Internet opinions seem mixed. Yeah you can put a suppressor on rifles and submachine guns. Like was said above the amount it quiets it is relative. As an example with a (wet) can on a 45 it sounds like a pneumatic nail gun. In reference to the subsonic vs supersonic. The bullet that travels supersonic creates a "ballistics crack" aka sonic boom. Still useful for hiding your location because the Crack will be heard coming from the opposite direction of the shooter. |

Silencerco osprey is the suppressor on stalkers 1911. The osprey design just has a different baffle design and larger volume than most suppressors. Also because of how it hangs you don't need raised sights like you normally need on a platform.

Looks like a pistol sound suppressor shoved into the rifle's flash suppressor. Ugh! As with everything the answer is yes.... but. And don't do what Hasbro did. The Stalker's Nerf rifle doesn't look it was designed to be silenced. The muzzle sound will be reduced, if he doesn't shoot the thing off, but there will be noise each time the chamber opens unless there is a bolt delay.... Or is this thing caseless like a G-11? Reducing the powderload to slow the muzzle velocity in a standard auto and the action of the rifle might not function. From the size of the rifle, I would think designed for 7.62 but the magazine is 9mm. This makes my head hurt. Just an ugly looking Frankengun set-up. Go find a nice 1/12 MP5SD6.

Yup the only time I've ever seen that type of suppressor was use on pistols, and I think mainly in the civilian shooter/enthusiast world.

This is how it's supposed to look (aside from Eriver94's hands): It's a FINN LMG from COD Modern Warfare |

Stalker subgun is the "M32 Pulverizer" in GIJoe lore, which doesn't exist but is based on numerous Cold War-produced guns from the time; however, the mags do not go in the LMG, someone from Hasbro didn't know guns when they took those pictures |

That's good info there...few other things, Stalker's suppressor sticks into the end of the flash hider which wouldn't work because the sound escapes the vent holes. Usually, you're going to have threads or some kind of locking lugs to cover the end of the barrels you're putting suppressors on. It's the same reason you can't put suppressors on revolvers because the space between the cylinder lets out the gas. There's one exception, the Nagant revolvers but that's too much to go into.

Stalker's LMG isn't Nerf, it's the Knight's LAMG which is one of the modern successors to the Stoner machineguns, yes, that's the Osprey suppressor which hangs low to prevent it from blocking the sights-in the past you needed to use higher sights to look over the height of it

Well, yeah, technically that's the real-life counterpart to the FINN (yes, I know that's the point of the thread). COD developers changed some of the shapes to avoid copyright infringement, which is kind of funny, because Hasbro copied that design almost exactly.

Yep it's obvious they copied it because I can't find one picture of that stock in existence despite being in two videogames-the other is The Division 2. However it's very similar to the CZ Bren 2 stock
