This is a screenshot from Red Rocket's glare. Every time I watch it, I can't figure out what this is supposed to be. The object is to the right of the TV.
Is it an appliance of some kind? Its design seems very intentional. It's not a washer/dryer, it's not an oven or kitchen appliance, and it's inside, so it's not A/C. Does anyone remember something like this existing at their home or someone else's? I understand the animation was done overseas. Is this something that didn't exist in the USA? What is it? It reminds me of an AC/Heating unit like you sometimes see in a hotel, or one of those window units, just drawn by someone who didn't really know how they work (or care).

It looks as if the artist was looking at the HI AIR KOREA (HAK) Packaged Air Conditioning Unit inside the studio while creating that animation background painting (and those would be installed inside of the studio).
