I’d love to see more about Mercer defecting from Cobra.

The guy was a former Cobra Viper. There would be so much distrust towards within G.I. Joe and tension towards Mercer.

Perhaps that story could also reconcile Felix Stratton and Richard Cecil- who are both codenamed Mercer and both the only people to defect from Cobra and live, per their file cards, I believe.
