After watching the latest Classified reveals on HasbroPulse, and once again not seeing Shipwreck, I have to ask is there an embargo on him?

He was a fixture of Sunbow GIjoe, used throughout the 1st season and 2nd miniseries with sporadic appearances in the much shorter season 2. He's an absolute fan favorite and even voice actor Neil Ross looks like him.

But now I feel like Shipwreck is frequently snubbed in just about everything. The biggest example of this is the Reaction line from Super7, where they showed off 8 different variations of Sailors without a single Shipwreck. If anything those sailors should be repaints of Shipwreck with different heads and no Polly, but we get those sailors first. Still no Shipwreck.

So is there some kind of embargo on the character? He's literally my favorite Joe and the only Classified figure I want to own.

That's a good question. I am also surprised we haven't seen him yet. He seems like a good character to throw in early to diversify the styles/roles of the JOE team. Still no seafaring characters at all in the line.

This one I'm sure is just random chance. I wouldn't worry too much about it, I'm sure he's just around the corner. We don't yet know what's coming up for the rest of 2022. WOJM mentioned that all the Classified leaks were only supposed to be for the first half of the year.

I bet they are also trying to spread out the figures that come with pets as well.

There is a lot of very big characters we haven't seen yet.

Look at how popular Alpine and Bazooka were in the series and we haven't seen those 2 yet. Probably just a matter of time before we see Shipwreck.

I'd say there was a YMCA embargo, but then Gung Ho and Spirit were released. lol Nah, there're just a lot of characters to get to. Everyone has a favorite they're waiting for.

I don't know Jayman. My patience wears thin. I'm thinking of characters that we may not see return in the o-ring revival or the Super7 that I may go ahead and purchase off of ebay and my fellow Tankers. I've been able to cut a few good deals so far right at $20 a pop.

Outside the ReAction Sailors, have there been any naval Joes released in the past three years? I can't think of one.
