It always felt like Shipwreck was palling around rather than being a lecher by the way he delivered his lines, like the woman in question was in on the joke. The only exception was the one time Scarlett elbowed him, and even that felt like "stop being silly, this isn't the time to goof off".

His background in Sunbow was that he was just some random Navy guy they found in a Cobra town, and they recruited him. What did they expect?

Oh, man. If Super7 does an Ultimate Scarlett, I'm toast! I can resist that great-looking Lady Jaye, but I don't think I'll be able to pass up Destro and Scarlett in Sunbow at that scale. Hasbro has the most hideous sculpts for Scarlett. Even the Renegades Scarlett figure looked better than any of the ARAH, though Retro was good I passed her up because I'd just bought another variation.

I still think CC & Baroness were together or somehow related. There's too strange of a nature between them.

MASS Device Cover Girl was a benefit to the team ... then they changed her hair and promoted LJ over her. The comics seem to use her only for her physique now, but I like how she was "introduced" by saving some Joes from drowning in IDW canon.

CC is that guy who is too ambitious to notice anything else going on. Subconsciously pulling himself up by his bootstraps because he is too obsessed with his vision to acknowledge defeat. The only way to deal with them is to kill them, but in CC's case he still has that sense of self preservation, so that's doubly dangerous.

Flint Dille mentions in his book that he kinda felt like that might be the case, too. Which would make sense as one of the reasons CC and Destro don't get along.

I think Cover Girl is still pretty great in the rest of the show, and I actually like how Liz Aubrey changed the voice slightly to make her sound a bit tougher. It is definitely LJ's show though. I think she shows up more than anybody but CC.

I do wish writers would emphasize the tanker/mechanic side of Cover Girl. They seem to ignore that a lot these days.

Yes, it was Cover Girl. Scarlett elbowed him too, and I think you're right about the episode. LJ received him "the best" of all three.

Same here. I get that they're boutique, but that's a steep price tag for what they are. I don't collect many lines, and I'm getting more selective, so I may surprise myself someday.

Liz Aubrey did a fine job. I think she's turned up in other animated series that I've seen. I agree about seeing the tanker/gearhead side of CG ... plus, that would make her look hotter than most of the poses they put her in.

A good amount of it involves his time at TSR games as well, so if you ever played any D&D, it would probably be doubly interesting. Having said that, I know almost nothing about D&D, RPGs in general, or TSR in particular, and I still found those parts of the book fascinating.

Gearhead girls are the hottest. That's just a fact. And in Joe, CG is the only mechanically-minded female character. I don't understand why writers find that so hard to use.
