We used to call my old martial arts teacher "Snake Eyes" back in the 90's, I feel like he could have been a Joe member. He was a former Army Ranger that fought in Panama and the first Gulf War. Trained in Bujinkan & Genbukan martial arts and was a beast with jujutsu, sword and bo, also had a dan-ranking in Judo. Lived near NASA and worked in aerospace (had a degree in biology though), then quit and went into military contract work after the Iraq invasion. Now he works for a firearm company. He was pretty tough. I remember he was shot at least once and emailed me the gory pics lol...
