has there been any announcement when he's selling Gemini and Warpath Eclipse on his site?

Valaverse appears to be back in the office after Power Con now. Swarm Horde is restocked if anyone's interested. I guess they didn't sell out at the con. I was into it for a bit but decided against it. (I'll never get to 20 Action Points at this rate now.) As much as I want to like this line, the more I try to pose my Eclipse and Slaughter figures the less I like them. I like Eclipse's covered head but the rest of the design is so bland, and why is her rifle the exact same color as her clothing? I can't buy a second female figure from Valaverse because they are all just exactly the same figure. Even He-Man, a line built on re-use, has more variety than what I see among the Valaverse women (and men, but at least they have 2-3 options.) The new Blowback is good for those wanting a camo troop builder, and that's cool and all. But as repaints go, at least Tiger Force and Python Patrol require some design in the colorway. Vala's Camo Crew really doesn't. I expect to see camo Condor, Trigger, et al in future waves. |

I'll be picking this up do do a Hit & Run until we get one from Classified. Wink head is going in the bin for good, though. Snipers don't do that. Being his military advisor, and never hesitating to ding Hasbro for that type of stuff, Tony should've pointed that out to Bobby.

Those'd actually make good convention exclusives. Unnecessary, but neat to have for those who want one.

It's also probably safer to do releases like that for some of the characters than straight reissues. Kinda shocked Condor got a rerelease.

But I agree. Going forward, variants are the way to go for mainline releases like the upcoming Desert Condor (like Classified has been doing for a while now with TF, PP, NF, etc.) - so long as Bobby steers clear of another Giggles.

The Series 1 figures were trash needing to be heated every time they're reposed (the SWARM Troopers also have breakage issues - which despite reassurances, weren't addressed). They where wholly deserving of the SDS treatment with the QC issues addressed, even Condor.
I only had to heat them once and then the joints were pretty acceptable, if a little on the tight side (Except the hands, which continue to be a major pain to swap) The upper torso ball joint on my SWARM got a little weird, but other than that the QC was solid enough Although I did have a problem that I haven't heard anybody else mention, in that my weapons pack alpha was missing the AK and had an extra KRISS Vector in its place

Thankfully BBTS was willing to replace it with another Gear Pack letting me keep the original (which I wound up donating with my unneeded second Crossfit Popeye - AF Slaughter - to Toys For Tots). But missing accessories is something I'd just chalk up to the a-typical things that happen across all brands. I've had MasterVerse figures missing weapons/hands and even Classified figures missing accessories. Usually it can be worked out easily through CS or worst case scenario, picked up on EbaY.

I would have done a nice flat black/gloss black to make it look like an actual premium vehicle since that's what it is at heart military or not. The gray will probably appeal to more people as it's a much more neutral option even if I think it looks like a combat minivan still myself. I'm realllly curious as to what the factory quoted him on minimums for production on it too....

I just look at it that the gray will be a hell of a lot easier if you want to repaint the big bitch lol. It's funny how Powercon has a past of controversial or underwhelming votes on products in the past with MOTU and now on this lol.
