Are the figures 6.5 inches tall or 6?

Thank you for creating this thread! I was actually thinking about creating a separate thread to focus the discussion on the toys and am delighted that someone beat me to it.
So all I have at this moment is the Wasp Raider and the Bravo 1 weapons pack. Like most of us here, I have everything else pre-ordered from BBTS and am anxiously awaiting those to ship, whenever that may be. From the pictures and the Youtube videos, I knew these figures were impressive but it wasn't until I have one actually in hand that I realized just how much I would love this line. I've had the Wasp Raider for about a week now and this is now easily among my top six inch figures in my collection. In fact the Wasp Raider and Master of Disguise Zartan are two of my top favorite of my entire 6 inch figure collection! I really love the design and colors of the figure, and the articulation is actually superb! Love the poses that I'm able to get. The best part of posing and displaying the figure is that it actually comes with a display stand. This is such a no brainer and such a pity that we don't get these with Classifieds since they are so needed! I love my Classifieds, but having them tip over so many times because of lack of display stands is so annoying! So great that Valaverse realizes the necessity of display stands. And the extra hands is also a wonderful bonus! Moving on to the weapons pack, I use these weapons mostly with my Classifieds and they fit like a glove! The new weapons took a few of my Classified figures to a whole new level! See attached pictures. For Duke and Firefly, I actually painted the rifles to match the colors of the figures and they look awesome. Such a big difference! And Barbecue looks absolutely perfect with the shot gun. Can't wait to get my DeClassified pack for my Gung Ho figure! Below are a couple of my suggestions for the line. These are not criticisms as much as they are my own personal preference that I would like to see. 1. The great thing about GI Joe is that most of the characters are very unique and different. Action Force needs a little more of this. For example, Condor and Rollout are almost the exact same figure. Trigger and Sgt Slaughter V2 are also almost the same figure. But if you look at Kerak, Bone Collector or Swarm Trooper, they are each unique and different. More of this "uniqueness" is needed for this line. 2. So moving on to the comics, I have all of them and am quiet enjoying them. I prefer if the comics are made available more often and on a more consistent basis. A consistent monthly comic would really be great to get the story going, flesh out the characters and get us more familiar with the figures/characters we love. So that's pretty much it for now. All in all, so far I think Action Force is on it's path to greatness! Very looking forward to seeing this line grow into something as great as GI Joe!

Anyone else think the new Scarab would make a great Mega Viper?

The figures are extremely medicore especially to have a creator with an ego and a following that bags them for more than $10 bucks. I?d get it if they were top shelf, but no matter how you slice it, these figures carry a very childish and dated look. The comics to me, at least gave these silly figures some substance. I liked that about this line the most.

I know that this is not the preference of everyone (I am working hard lately to avoid apostrophes due to this glitch), but they are available digitally via Amazon.
A collected trade paperback has been discussed, but I have no concrete details on that at this time. |

Glad people are finding this thread and using it. Its good to hear plans are in the works for more regular comics. I know we need that.
Sgtzslaughter you make a good point about the GI Joe being individual but I also enjoy the AF line as a more realistic military theme. I think more regular story telling in the comics would make the characters more individual and we could invest more into enjoying them. I am glad the weapons work with the classified figures. That is exactly why I got them although I am still waiting for BBTS to despatch. It is taking ages |
