Hitler wasn't the greatest military mind, though

I'm sure they just picked cool names kids could research. Hitler is too recent, though, and nobody wants to be the one who made a Hitler toy for kids...

I'm less worried about grave sites existing for Hannibal, Alexander the Great, Sun Tzu and so on and more concerned about whether they could possibly recover DNA and bones from someone dead for a thousand plus years like Hannibal and Alexander.

Rasputin became a legend. He supposedly had hypnotic and healing powers. He was said to be very hard to kill. This is probably all hokum, but it makes for a great character to add to the DNA. (He was also played by Christopher Lee once.)

And the toys...chainsaw toilet Hitler. Battery acid gargling Hitler, steamroller testicle hitler. And anti violence activists have nothing. It's hard to campaign for better treatment for Hitler. |

Loved the figure.
Hated the cartoon version with a fiery passion. Enjoyed the comic version. Would have liked to have seen the 'toon approach the character in the same way. I can see CC wanting to have Mindbender brew him up a super soldier general fella, but I don't get the logic in the likes of Destro and Baroness suddenly jumping on board with the "we don't like our leader....let's MAKE a new one!" deal.
