I think somebody brought this up before, but why isn't those cats from Adventure Team being used as a JOE kid's line and a kid's cartoon? It seems to me that out of all of the products in the JOE brand that Adventure Team leands itself the easiest towards kid focused toys and media, especially since animals are a component of the Adventure Team line.
I know that S.E. and Tommy are the franchise, but if they were to do an Adventure Team show why not have Joe Colton, Breaker, Outback, R 'n R, Clutch and a random female go on adventures a la Johnny Quest. Wait, Johnny Quest is a bad example because Johnny Quest was a violent fuckin' cartoon that averaged one death per episode, but forgive my digression. Anyway, I feel as if Hasbro is missing an opportunity by not utilizing Adventure Team as a conduit to introduce new younger fans to G.I. JOE.

I'm on board with this. Even the team choice. Cover Girl would fit using her modeling background. Maybe add Alpine and Bazooka. Have them an " off the books " team so they can float between story types.

Would you remove the name G.I. Joe all together, and just brand it as Adventure Team?

No, because you leave in G.I. JOE for branding purposes and to identity what it is to the mainstream like what Marvel does with the MCU.

ARAH has a ton of characters that would work well in an Adventure Team setting. Barbeque the firefighter, Tollbooth the construction engineer, heck, Cutter and a WHALE more suited to rescue work could work with those already mentioned. Use this line for outlandish colors and fun gimmicks while producing toys that could be used with the "proper" Joe line

You could do a kid friendly show and toy line about a group of kids who go up against Cobra, with the Joes as supporting characters. |

They could do a kid-friendly line without using Cobra, just use some of the Cobra characters as bad guys without the organisation: Cesspool as a polluter, Gnawgahyde as a poacher/trophy hunter, Raptor as a crazy falconer doing bad stuff, Dr Mindbender as a looney scientist with mad schemes to wreck the environment, the Dreadnoks as a group of toned down biker thugs. Combined with PSAs about protecting the environment... Throw in Airtight, Clean Sweep and Ozone as the Eco-Force that the Adventure Team sometimes works with...

A kid's toy line would have to be anchored by a TV show or Game. Kid's are not aware of the Adventure Team, so the toys would seem like random vehicles and figures. Lego and Playmobil can get away with generic themed lines because the product itself is the brand.

It would be kinda cool if Hasbro relaunched Adventure Team but it should be it’s own thing and not combined with ARAH.

Henderson played on nine teams, but he's sure to be inducted as an Oakland Athletic, like Eckersley, and depicted wearing an A's cap on his plaque. The A's were Henderson's first and favorite team, so much so that he returned three times and wanted to return a fourth so he could retire in green and gold.

Hasbro is still trying to get one "main" incarnation of Joe to stick with someone besides "us." Until they manage that they probably shouldn't spread their resources thin trying to do multiple iterations of the same thing.
That's not to say the baseline idea is bad (it's similar to thoughts I've had of an "Expanded Joe-Verse") but get the baseline down and solidified before you start expanding in too many new directions. |
