In the UK, in an effort to internationalize G.I. Joe characters for the UK's Action Force, Flint was the field commander of UK operations under the command of Trent in the comic series. Flint's real name was as David R. Faireborn and he was born in Lincoln, England.[2]
so what im saying, is since flint is in action force continuity, and gijoe continuity, this is just mashing both together by making gijoe an international team. Last edited by THEDARKONE508; 01-23-2023 at 07:01 PM.. |

Well that's why we share things, I just saw some pics since I'm not home, the flag's there so that cool
I'm very into foreign Joes or foreign lines, I specifically collect Super7 based int'l figures, Mortal's one of the favorites from the 2006 set, & I used to like picking up Funskool Quote:
...the Hasbro Joe team have been referring to the Joe toy weapons during livestreams as both "blasters" as well as "guns", "pistols" and "rifles" for at least 4 years now. Even on the recent Pulse-Con stream where a bunch of people got triggered when someone on the Joe team started using "blasters", there were still instances where the team also still used "gun" and "pistol" in the same exact stream.

Now if they stopped making us the weapons for the figures, then I would have a huge issue with it. Those laws definitely would cause some concern for Hasbro and the Joe team for sure.

No, it's cool I didn't think you were, just tired of the hysteria over gun control when Joe got me into guns, Red Star's Kalashnikov was one of my favorites growing up but now Red Star is unlikely to show up in Classified

Sorry GG9, didn't mean to imply you were. I honestly don't care what they call them during a stream. As long as they are making them and giving the figures the proper gear and weapons they can call them "banana bonkers" and "cookie sprinklers" for all I care! lol

Exactly. Officially, according to Hasbro's website the JOE team is this
G.I. Joe is a highly skilled, on-demand, international special missions force of men and women from around the globe, selected for their elite abilities in their chosen disciplines. Officially, G.I. Joe doesn't exist, and very few know the truth: these heroes fight a secret war, as the first and last line of defense against forces that seek to plunge our world into chaos. And COBRA is this Cobra is a multi-faceted and masterfully coordinated global criminal network. Few know the truth: Cobra's ultimate mission is to bring chaos and their nefarious ideology into the world. However, for the overwhelming majority of the fandom, (especially for American JOE fans,) the JOE team and COBRA Command will and forever be this. G.I. JOE is the codename for AMERICA'S daring, highly trained, special mission force. Its purpose: To defend human freedom against COBRA, a ruthless, TERRORIST organization determined to rule the world.

I think it's the lore when Classified was going to be based on or connected to OBO, which is now obsolete because the line has moved on to giving us 1/12 recreations of figures instead of reinventing the universe
There's secret wars or missions going on between them but neither side is unknown to the public in the comic or the cartoons |

im not one to argue with you because you're in the prime area for action force, but
https://gijoe.fandom.com/wiki/Flint_...ics_continuity so what im saying, is since flint is in action force continuity, and gijoe continuity, this is just mashing both together by making gijoe an international team. In my personal head canon, I pretty much go with the US GI Joe stories, so Flint is American. Action Force to me these days is more the Palitoy/Battle Action Force characters. |
