Woke up long enough to check the board and see if there's any news about Zarana & Zandar. There is none. Back to sleep.

I'm still puzzled why Hasbro keeps neglecting these two. I was sick and tired of Zartan and his nursemaid/girlfriend/fangirl twenty years ago when DDP had Zarana revolving around Zartan for the whole time they had the license, and it's all we seem to be getting today. Please embrace developing Zarana & Zandar together, Hasbro? But not as the opposite of Tomax & Xamot.

Life sucks. Got a needle in my eye to try to preserve my sight. Come here for escapist fantasy. Same stuff. No Zandar. No Zandar & Zarana. Nothing and no sign of it. Yet we'll get a dozen Snake-Eyes variants and Zartan and his sister Zarana with the Thunder Machine HasLab. Been hoping for Classified Zarana & Zandar linked together since 2020, and Zarana & Zandar since 2002.

Zarana's here so that's 1/2 ways there, even better it's one of the nicer figures to come out in the last few waves

I agree with you. The Zarana figure is amazingly well done. But the only reason we have Zarana is because we have Zartan.

Probably because Hasbro has nothing to do with any information about the figures... they just make the toys. Hasbro leaves it to other media to flesh the characters out.

I don't see how we're getting anything similar to Zarana being a Zartan fangirl in the Classified line. All the website says is that she's his sister... that's it. And like you said... DDP was 20 years ago. Since that time, we've had the IDW series, which you clearly enjoyed. More time has passed between now and the beginning of the DDP series than between the beginning of the DDP series and the beginning of the Marvel series.

Snake-Eyes is extremely popular and a gateway to the franchise for many people. I agree with you about the Thunder Machine... it's strange, but I guess they figured Zartan is the most popular Dreadnok, so we need him out there and Zarana is female and we need more females out there. As for waiting since 2002... what about the IDW comics? Honestly, it's going to be the comics where you have the best chance of having them linked together. Unless you're just talking about toys, but once you get the Zandar figure in your hands, will it really matter that he wasn't released in the same wave as Zarana?

That's also the only reason we have Zandar. And they made her in Classified first, because there's a deficit of female characters in the line. There are also far fewer Dreadnoks than either Cobras or Joes, so that's probably why they are releasing them one per wave... so they can stretch it out.
