Sept 12, 2021......And of the 54th day of "Your Daily Joe.....", Mainframe77 rested... Yo Joe!
Before I could even give it a try, I realized that I don't know what has or has not already been covered in this thread. In my opinion, what the first post of this thread needs is a periodically updated reference list, so that we can see what has already been discussed, but even more importantly, any forum visitor new to this thread can find a favorite topic if they want to know more about anything in particular which was previously discussed. If my memory is correct, the Tiger Force was used once in the Special Missions series. The Python Patrol was used once. I don`t think that the Night Force was ever used and neither was the Sky Patrol. The Star Brigade was used in a issue or two. The Battleforce 2000 was used in a few issues. The Iron Grenadiers were used a lot.

The various sub-teams were best represented in the 2008-2018 G.I. Joe vs Cobra comic book series by Fun Publications Comics. As you mentioned, many were never given a single appearance at all, with the exception of Fun Publications Comics.

Tiger Force characters wore TF uniforms and used the Tiger Cat and I think the Tiger Sting in the main series too, but without actually using the name.
Battle Force 2000 turned up several times, they starred in Cold Snap with the Persuader and Cobra WOLF also appearing, later appeared around #80 or so and again in the Benzheen War arc when most were killed off. |

Was it only in comic book stories published in the UK, and not in the US? In which stories can you remember Tiger Force uniforms or vehicles making an appearance?

Cap Britain, Goosey or Playful.....
Feel free to post a new day today or tomorrow. I’d love to see someone keep a daily, simple, primarily positive topic each day. |

Thanks, Snakes.
I had forgotten about that entire shootout with the Dreaknoks on Long Island!

I read this issue over and over until the cover came off of it! Seeing the matching tattoo on Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow made me lose my mind.

It’s always been cool to me that this issue was done differently then the others. Hama and Leialoha did the heavy lifting. No words. Laying the seeds for the best character backstory in the line seemingly while doing a rushed job (just a guess).
