If we're just picking which one we dislike less, I'm OK with Sigma 6 in the last waves where the figures were nicer

Figures: I love both scales of Sigma 6, and have a burning fury towards the Extreme figures, though some of the vehicles are nice.
Cartoon: Can't stand the 1st season of Sigma 6, 2nd season ranges from tolerable to enjoyable. I genuinely enjoyed the Extreme cartoon and think it was quite good, with the best episodes being on par with Sunbow. |

I did, it doesn't stick in my mind as much as the cartoon though (probably because I read the whole 8(?)issues in one evening verses the couple of weeks it took me to go through the cartoon). I certainly did not hate it, but I don't remember anything standing out exceptional to me either. It was just okay.

Maybe I'm blinded by Nostalgia, but my vote is for Sigma 6. It was the first GI Joe cartoon I saw and it's what started me on the path to being a GI Joe fan.
