Ninja Force is the most obvious, but RAH has so many awesome and/or unique characters that an "Adventure Team" subline using RAH characters devoid of "G.I." branding could work. Characters lost in the military shuffle could shine in an adventure setting, IF the toys were good. I'm thinking a team with members like:
Alpine (Mountain missions) Link (anti-poaching vet) Barbeque (firefighter) Blizzard (snow missions) Scoop (public relations) Windmill (pilot) etc... (note that I avoid characters with "military" code-names) Gonna be honest, I think about this a lot when my son watches "Paw Patrol", environment-suited specialists in adventure settings, for when kids want to "grow out" of cute puppy-based adventures. |

So you're saying it could work...
All kidding aside, I just looked it up. Rescue Heroes has been over for quite some time (1999-2002) and was aimed at a younger audience, pretty much the same as Paw Patrol. Age-up the concept, give it a Johnny Quest vibe. Give them Cobra cast-offs as adversaries (Voltar, Raptor, Zandar) and overarching quests. At the very least, use it to keep trademarks alive for characters that don't get released in the first 2 years of a Joe line. Use it to release vehicles too expensive for a "risky" Joe line with the "fun" factor ramped up. And if they can be retooled at a low cost for Joe... Bridgelayer with grappling hooks instead of cannons WHALE with something less military for armaments...water cannons? Retaliator |

And Renegades showed you can even use Joe characters in a completely different setting and it can work! |
