I always thought they were pretty interesting, and I wanted to build the Future Fortress as a kid because it looked awesome. I was too poor to afford all that, and I didn't know it didn't click together. I think I would have been sorely disappointed.
Now I have nearly all of the figures/vehicles, and they aren't that bad at all. The vehicles are nice smaller vehicles, with lots of extra play features and hidden weaponry. The figures are somewhat basic, but are colorful and look nice with their respective vehicle. |

Another great thing about Battle Force 2000, before they died of course, is that their mission to field-test experimental prototypes under battlefield conditions allowed just about any toy from other lines to be integrated into G.I. Joe play.
Armored vehicle driver, Dodger, oversees testing of the new Goliath Assault Tank (borrowed from Hasbro's Marvel product line) at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. Mechanized recon driver, Blocker, discusses with another armored vehicle driver, Avalanche, who should be the first to take it out for a spin.

@Playful, is that a custom vehicle?
Also, I just added a poll to this thread. |

This toy might not even qualify as much of a custom vehicle, because it's just a coat of paint and a few stickers placed on an old Marvel item. After the 2017 Convention, I was a little let down by the Collector Club's vehicle offerings, so I started painting some other existing toys, as I felt the Club should have done for the convention attendees.

I'm wondering if the sets were distributed evenly, were some easier to find than others?
There's likely people out there who could find every vehicle so they couldn't finish completing the fort. |

Yes. Wish they came back and nailed the one guy they missed.

Honestly loved them, mostly because when I was collecting they were the main subline out there. So my dad bought them all for me and I've enjoyed the toys. Same with Sky Patrol.
