I always liked Blizzard because he looked so different then the other cold weather Joes. Frostbite, Snow Job, and Iceberg all had a similar look, but then came Blizzard looking more modern and completely different.
I love all the cold weather Joes. But Blizzard has a special place. Iceberg looked a little different from Snow Job and Frostbite...lol |

Well other than Storm Shadow in his boomerang print pajamas and bathrobe all the repaints I'm seeing are kinda cool. Some like the para-viper and snow serpent look even cooler than the first ones. I don't know buy what you like and custom what you don't.

As collectors we have endured countless crappy repaints time and time again. But I as I assume most of you have accepted that is part of toy collecting.
However, now when we are getting what is basically the SnowCat and a simple repainted Snow Job could become Frostbite they give us a whole new character called Whiteout? What's the logic? Also, trademarks weren't as vigorously pursued/defended/cared about by toy companies back in the 80s, and many of the figures back then were given names that weren't unique enough to be distinct as trademarks (or were given names that they couldn't trademark as action figures). Not so much of concern then, much more of a concern now. This is also why we've been seeing figures like "Anthony 'Flash' Gambello" or "Sgt. Stalker".

I'd love to get Blizzard. He's the only Joe from my home state of NH.

I don't know why they didn't take the opportunity to have Iceberg though. He can't be more than a headsculpt from having all the parts needed.
