Nope. I really don't have any use for any of that crap. I collect 4" figures and vehicles, and only have a few other items related to the Joes. I really don't get the "meh, they're not awesome, but i'll probably get them anyway, just because" mentality.

No. My collecting focus is the o-ring era. Outside of a couple classified figures and comics I don't buy much of anything new.

Licensing out the brand by Hasbro isn’t done with the expectation that the consumers for Hasbro’s figures will buy every product that is made outside of their own line. It’s actually the opposite — the licensees want Joe because they believe their existing customers for their product would buy Joe versions of their line. Mezco isn’t targeting Classified consumers, they are targeting Mezco consumers with a new Mezco figure.

Nope. Currently making my own through Marauder's and waiting on a few more Classified preorders to drop.

Outside of posters & puzzles & whatnot, I could see some appeal to the mini-figurines. Provided they were in dynamic poses, weren't too cartoony, and had a large (and diverse) roster. Plus I guess that new Renegade RPG looks like it might be fun, too (assuming you're into that sorta thing).
The "Loot Crate" Scarlett, on the other hand ... hard pass. To be honest, I'm quite curious, actually, who the intended audience could possibly be for that ghastly thing? (Personally, I'd be afraid to even have it in my house.) You would buy a Zarana/Zandar 2-pack in the Loot Crate "style"? Seriously?

No, just figures. Which is ironic, because that seems to be the one thing they don't want to make. If they do, you can't aquire it.

I was a Joe before I even knew what that meant. My first two figures (Rock N Roll and Flash) were purchased at Gemco where my mom was grocery shopping. I didn't know about the comics, hadn't seen a commercial and the cartoon was still years away. I just thought they were little plastic army guys made like my Star Wars figures.
That Joe enough for ya?

Ha, no. I'm not a completion-ist in any sense. I just cherry pick what I think is awesome, regardless of line, scale, or brand. I just wish there weren't so many lines and brands that I think are awesome.

Are you G.I. Joe’s beeyotch?
The majority of us here on the ‘Tank grew up with the toys, cartoon and/or comics. These days Hasbro seems to be more of an entertainment company instead of a toy company. Hasbro definitely doesn’t know what to do with the G.I. Joe brand. Instead of giving us what we want, TOYS, they license out the brand to every and any company that’ll pay Hasbro. Anyway, after the reveal of Jazwares Domez the other day, I was wondering... Do you buy “EVERYTHING” with the G.I. Joe name on it? I'm really only excited about Classified but I have been pre-ordering/buying the retro figures and vehicles (I love the HISS). I wanted o-ring figures but I knew they wouldn't make those. They've said as much at some point in the past. But I am very happy with the Classified line after thinking I'd never care to collect a 6" line.
