The Marauder Task Force Vietnam Kickstarter excludes UK and EU now as well.
It's awful that governments can demand International taxes. The world has become even crazier... I suggest to use a Proxy shipping service to order. There are US based ones. I successfully used Japanese Proxie shippers before to preorder directly from Bandai Japan for Japan only items (s.h. figuarts male yellow tigerranger from power rangers. |

Well, so this threads still going...haven't you got anything else better to do? No. Obviously not.
My items arrived way back in May / June. I haven't been too bothered jumping onto HissTank and posting about it until being mildly curious enough to remember about it. I have found the sniping comments from others rather mildly interesting to say the least. And before anyone asks, yes, I did inform Marauder Inc. If I want anything else, I can use a proxy US shipping service to have items shipped to them initially and they then ship it all onto me fully insured and trackable. Perhaps Marauder should consider adding such a suggestion to their website thus preventing things like what happened to me occurring in future - not everyone knows about proxy services until after the fact. Also, here's to reading about your own woes - quite sure you would not like having a glib shit stirrer troll you with a snide remark when that day comes but as others have entertainingly added - 'this is HissTank'. Mods - keep the thread going for all I care. Thanks in advance!

I have to say I have only recently become aware of the Maruders website. I was so excited by it and eager to put an order together. Then I got the disclaimer at check out. No UK shipping. I find this bizarre for a new company to exclude so much of its market. I do hope there is a rethink. It would bring joy to many.
That’s my opinion anyway |

Maybe from listening to GI Joburg, I heard non-USA buyers have their stuff shipped to USA businesses that offer foreign forwarding service. No idea on cost.

For me it is both cost and risk that worries me on this path. I just wish Marauders would post to the UK and add the postage cost to me the buyer who is willing to do it. There is so much good stuff on the site I would order.

Basically a lot of American companies (especially smaller ones that might not be able to afford lawyers versed in international tax law to sort out any messes) simply don't want to deal with the VAT headaches that have been imposed by the UK and EU now. And even less so with buyers who seem to think the seller should engage in tax evasion schemes for the privilege of delivering them product. |
