When creating a five man team what are there roles. For example: sniper, scout, so on.....Or are there any? Do you just create roles?

I would think it depends on the mission, and the goal to get it done, say seek and distroy, or, information gathering, two completely differant teams.
so as for who, or what is needed in the team it would be whats needed for that mission to get it done.

What if you are going for more of a stealth mission? Shock and awe? Recon? Demolition?

All depends on the mission.
What I call my Direct Action Units, the covert-ops/sneaky guys (think Stalkers team from the Assault on Springfield) are set up like so: Team Leader EOD Sniper Security (usually a heavy machine gunner to provide covering fire) Controller (communications, forward observer, combat controller) Point My Infantry Units are set up: Team Leader Communications MAAWS Rifleman (bazooka soldier) Rifleman Auto Rifleman (SAW machine gunner) Grenadier
