Yes there is a guy on eBay who sells black majors who does that. He puts reproduction on most all and the ones he doesn’t he puts in the description.

Anyone have a 1986 joe on card, with the sticker?(for slaughter or body transfer)
I felt where the sticker goes and it’s printed on the card It should be a real sticker, correct? Last edited by 5x10; 01-27-2021 at 08:57 PM.. |

Spoke to a guy I met at my sons flag football, we got to chatting and he’s a huge joe collector
He said to look at the seal around the bubble, should be a waffle pattern if it’s legit Edit: after sending him pics, he thinks it’s real due to the waffle pattern seal Said the slaughter sticker isn’t really a sticker, it’s printed on the card Inserts are accurate Last edited by 5x10; 01-27-2021 at 10:12 PM.. |

I know SS was shown on the back of the class of '86 releases, but I honestly never saw him after 1985. Does anyone know if this version is more rare than the '84/'85 variant?
This card looks *way* too clean and crisp to be sitting around for ~35 years. The figure also looks *really* white and clean. It may very well be legit - and I would hope so for you! - but there are enough red flags that would make me very suspicious. |

Part of me doesn't really CARE if its a recard or not... its just really cool. I would love to have that in my collection.
Speaking of recards - does anyone have a hook up for someone that does them? I have an entire Snake Eyes carded collection... from V3 > now. But I do not have v1 or v2 carded. I would settle for a recard, just so I could complete the collection. |

Don’t know the guy myself, but have done business several times via both methods, each time smoothly. Recarding kits are sold here, though I haven’t splurged just yet: https://www.beggarscanyontoys.com/g-i-joe |

As for the Slaughter sticker, it was printed on the card, that's why I said the Swivel Arm Battle Grip mention was replaced by the Slaughter promo. This one looked legit to me from the get go, that's why my original comment of "If it were a repro, it's a very good one."

Looks damn nice, though. Just hope you didn't pay too much, but even an advertised recard Storm Shadow in good shape will set you back about 100 or so. If you spent less than 150 you got a nice presentation figure. My Firefly looks great and was about 125.
