I think I catch your meaning, 1982. There is a time and a place for other types of communication besides the Shout Out thread and sometimes it’s actually a relief not to be liked. Fair assessments of people as a prism, not discarding them as one dimensional, good or bad, is my aim. Also really digging the Patton’s quote in your sig.

How tf have I never seen this thread, haha! So many tankers over the last decade that I’d give a shout out to but I’ll do mine as a shout out to the whole tank. I’m military and move frequently so it’s difficult to connect with other Joe fans. This community gave me that ability while also inspiring me to get into customizing and rounding out my collection. I’ve said it before but it always been true, Hisstank took me to where I am now with this hobby and I’ll never forget it.

Too bad this thread hasn’t been bumped in a while. Here’s my shout out to kuh_rupht and axonrey for starting project quarantine, a great event for customizes to pass the time while everything shut down.
ALSO It would be a shame if no one gave a shout out to Slice for the TWO custom contests he held (and funded the prize himself.) I love that sort of community event, and it was great to see those contests come together and everyone bring their best work. I actually share your desire, Slice, to build a close-knit customizer community, encourage each other to bring our best, encourage people to give credit for inspiration, although we may disagree on how to respond to people and motivate those who don’t instantly join in or integrate. I’ve really enjoyed the fellowship among customizers here and I owe a lot of that to your encouraging people to grow as customizers together. No need to respond if you’re still upset with me. We’ve been hard on each other, but my recent words were not meant to undercut all the good things you do here. Quote:

Somehow I'm just now seeing this thread.
Anyway, first the obvious and obligatory shout out to all my buddies in the LNC. I haven't seen anyone mention CrossCountry yet. He and I might not see eye to eye on quite a few things, but he is definitely a good guy. He is respectful, speaks to folks in a respectful manor, and when it comes to selling off stuff, he is more fair than just about anyone I've come across on here. Also wanted to give a shoutout to my man nightrattler/PFC Hudson. He's been a good friend and has helped me keep my sanity on the days when things get heated around here. Also wanted to mention our old Mod Xero. He hasn't been around much at all lately, but he is a good guy and is missed.
