I was set for all-in (even at the price) and considered doubles to keep a set carded. The nostalgia hooked me in hard so it's a damn shame this died so soon. I had two of the puppet rides (the main two) and remember them fondly. But they were huge so was looking forward to eventually owning some smaller updated versions at some point maybe. It would be great if Zica could partner with Boss Fight (or just let them take over--yeah I know that's not exactly how licenses work) but that's up to Zica at this point. If they're not into it, it's probably DOA.

I think they just didn't get the word out about this Kickstarter to enough people. Did anyone who ordered from Zica's website get an email regarding wave 2? I didn't and I double checked to make sure I was signed up for promotions. Maybe it went into spam folder I don't know. Also, Dan from the Toy Galaxy Youtube channel was a pretty big fan of wave 1 and I don't remember him mentioning the wave 2 KS.

I would actually prefer a 6" line though so hopefully someone else will be able to pick up the license.

I sure hope Zica can find a way to get this going again. I know they say no, but I sure hope they can at least to finish this out. I am sick of incomplete toy lines.

I think launching kickstarters right at Christmas time is probably a bad idea. People’s money is going elsewhere.
I’m in accounts receivable for my company, and I usually send out a wave of “pay us or it goes to collections” letters in April so I can get people to pay me with their tax refunds and it works better than any other time of year.

There are a few things that I wonder about with regards to the license holders of some of these properties. How much do they think the property is actually worth? Was anyone else really looking to make Secaturs figures? They seem to have an inflated sense of the license's worth and should be happy that anyone wants to do them. Same thing with Captain Action.
