I like the looks of the figures, but Sectaurs were not a line I played with as a kid and it's tough to commit that much money right now. If I had a deeper attachment to the characters, I'd probably be all over it.
They do look like they'd display well next to my Lanard Bio-Wing Battle Squadron set, though. |

I just don't understand why they're going on this time of year at all. Surely creators who choose Kickstarter have researched enough to know after Christmas, Spring or Summer are better choices. If the Kickstarter gets close enough I'll back what I want to put it over, but the fact there are no scheduled stretch goals, exclusives or bonuses kind of has a limited scope. Like others I'm very stretched here at the end of the year. All that and Covid equals a really bad time for most. I can understand if it's a matter of a limited license period or fighting for their space on the Kickstarter calendar but not much else. In a year full of delays, I don't see much harm in pushing it out just a bit longer.

I backed it. I loved the toyline as a kid and wave 1 was great! I figured if it funds awesome I get figures I really want and if it doesn't then I'm not out anything. I'm really hoping anybody on the fence will ahead and support it and then if it is close I've considered picking up another set to try and push it over the top.

Final push guys. Still a ways to go but if you are at all interested then now is the time to back it. These may not be offered again as Zica doesn't own the rights and they only have the license to make the figures for a certain amount of time.

Guess there's only 254 Sectaurs fans.
Too rich for my blood. I never got wave 1, either. |

I think it's more an issue with timing and everything that is going on. They have acknowledged that the timing wasn't the best but, Zica doesn't own the rights to Sectaurs so they only have the license for a short amount of time and couldn't do stretch goals because they are limited by what they can use from the comics and cartoons. Also, yeah it was a very niche thing in the 80s.....so probably doesn't help.

Makes me sad I really wanted Commander Waspax and I went in on a set of the 1.5 repaints thinking that might help even in the slightest to show there is interest. Now I hope for a January miracle.

I got Dargon and Spidrax from the first series. They are great figures. As a kid I had the entire line. LOVED those figures. 35 bucks for a 1/18th scale figure is a little pricey to me. I would have gone all in if they were 1/12th scale.
