I say Hogwash that some WM's won't carry ROC. Unless they are really small, low volume stores, just have patience. As I recall, wasn't there a similar outcry over 25A stuff, before it was everywhere?

Little timmy at home won't think it's too funny... Any buinsess that smirks off it's customers is in a bad bad place. You never wana run off any customer no mater how bad they are unless your really looking to go out of buisness. I think this why retail has gotten so bad, especially Walmart, they do not care for thier employees, they do not care about thier customers experience, they do not have stuff in stock (not just toys mind you a lot of other products). It does not matter if I am some geek buying toys, some old man buying hot wheels or some 12 year old who goes empty handed. All in all it is bad when retailers end up not supporintg the toy lines we love. That will do more damage to the line than the movie or any hater speak.

walmart = no love for joe at all. just get rid of them all together. Target & TRUs love joe so you have 2 big powers right there who needs walmart.

So I just found out that a couple of Walmarts by me ARE NOT going to be carrying ANY ROC stuff AT ALL! I even asked the store manager about it and he just told me that that's what HQ told them. I told him that where was a good base of people who wanted to buy them and he told me, "Sorry, I guess you'll all be out of luck. Try going online." Needless to say I was F#@$ pissed off. I told him I was down shopping at Walmart and all by business was going to Target from now on and all he did was smirk! So no exclusives for MN, unless the new Walmart that they're almost done with will have them. Praying to God! But I still say that we should send a petition to Hasbro stating that we don't want any more Walmart exclusives only Online, Targets, and TRU. At least they're reliable. Any one else with me?
And Admin people if we get enough people together can we create something on the tank to send to hasbro? Thanks John

If Wal Mart doesn't carry my toys, I'm taking it up with the manager. Forget his or her problems, they need to get on the phone with their headquarters and demand GI Joe toys! Headquarters will sympathize with this go getter attitude from one of their managers, and they will reward them with a promotion, realizing of course that GI Joe toys could potentially add up to more profit than loss. It would totally be worth their while.
If the manager doesn't do it, I'll go to another employee and get them to relive their manager from command, and contact the Headquarters themselves. Clear thinking Wal Mart workers will obviously follow my logic. And you know what? If they don't stock my favorite toys, I'm writing a letter to Hasbro. Yeah, that's right. I'm gonna write them so hard they'll never live it down. I'm gonna say, do not do any more exclusive business ventures with Wal Mart, and then I'll show them a list of names. What will Wal Mart do? Ha! I just went over their heads! They'll soon learn that they had better stock this 32 year old's toys, not just in my local store, but everywhere wal mart exists. Okay. I make fun but It's only because I don't really feel too bad for you. Oh, granted, I want you to be able to find what you want and enjoy, but I don't think declaring war on Wal Mart will get you your collectables. Perhaps you could order them from Wal Mart online. And if your nearest Wal Mart isn't stocking any ROC toys, then order those directly from Hasbro (and cross your fingers if you want mint condition). Then again, maybe this is easy for me to say because my local Wal Marts are well stocked. Well, that's why I voted no. Good luck though. |

Wal-Marts always suck for any exclusives for any toyline. There are many WM exclusives I've never seen at WM (WWE, Iron Man, Cars, etc), so I vote Yes they blow and I never want to set foot in one again. Much lower class, trashier, dirtier, and sorrier than Target or TRU.
K-Mart is pretty dead and crummy, though, I'm not sure why Hasbro made exclusives for them, too. |
