The newly revealed W2 of Joe Ultimates has some bizarre Victorianesque design features. Giving the female figures "granny panty" hips not only makes them noticeably visually inferior to the males, but it seems like it will negatively affect their articulation. If so, this is a full fail on the part of Super7. Do they make any other lines with this design "feature?" Does it affect articulation?
Maybe this post is bizarre. Who knows?

It looks like they're trying to capture the classic cartoon style with these. They look pretty good.
But...........why is Baroness wearing some generic looking blue outfit instead of her signature black with Cobra logo? They're all are wearing their original stuff but her. If she wasn't in that lineup in the pic I wouldn't know who it was supposed to be. That completely ruins it for me. 1984 Baroness was one of my favorites. As for her later, more iconic black costume, I have no doubt whatsoever that Super7 will release that as well.

I'm still unclear as to who invented the Baroness. She debuted in the first Marvel issue in '82, while the figure wasn't released until '84, which leads me to believe she was invented by Larry Hama...

I guess if they already had the Scarlett figure for 1982, then Cover Girl for 1983, there wasn't room for Baroness until 1984.
