Hisstank (along with Toyark and Tokunation) were spun out of TFW2005. We might have...inherited...some of the regular posters from Yojoe, but this forum was created well before that point.

Yojoe’s death certificate was signed the moment it was sold off. I hold NO sympathy for certain individuals now that a large, faceless, company has changed the locks and taken away privileges. The fact the site couldn’t maintain the database with releases dropping off to almost nothing says a LOT to the investment Vertical Scope had in the site and the interest in the remaining (unpaid) staff to maintain the assorted databases.

3-D Joes is a great resource! I go there more and more.

As for the fandom - It does stink to see sites like Joedios, Joecustoms have a lot less activity. On the other hand with the ridiculous prices of vintage ARAH figures and vehicles on the secondary market one would think that the fandom would be booming but that is not the case. Makes me wonder what kind of collector is investing so much money into the hobby.

Two different sites, two different owners with two different goals. For being a vintage collector 3-D Joes is a great resource.

That's kind of the whole point of the thread and petition. The original owner(s) of Yojoe.com sold off the site to a company who essentially uses the site to sell ads to generate revenue. They don't care about improving the site at all and the original owners seem to now be suffering from seller's remorse because they gave the site up for a payday.

I only use the site for reference and as others have said it is archived.

I’d like to see the database maintained and updated as needed. Do not agree that it needs a new interface, visual design, etc.
