As the title suggests, I'm hoping to hear recommended fixes for soft-plastics that have been bent out of shape (often in the packaging). Mostly swords, sheaths, and gun barrels. My 2018 Rock 'N Roll's hat brim is also pressed down at the front a bit, which seems to be a common problem.
I've had success in the past with JvC/VvV figures and accessories puting them in hot water for a minute then pressing them into shape, but that doesn't always hold, particularly with thicker pieces like backpack sheathes. Does anyone have another method they like? PS - I've been on HissTank for over a decade, commenting rarely but mostly lurking around for news and insights. Pretty sure this is my first new thread |

I like to boil it, then straighten, and then dip it into ice water. Once it is stiff I then finish it in the freezer too force the new "memory" into the plastic.

Thanks! Feels funny being welcomed to a site that's been sending me birthday greetings for over 10 years, but seeing as you've been here even longer I'll gladly take it!
