Zarana has made the cut; will Zandar?

I'm happy so many people want to see Zandar & Zarana now! But I'm thinking never the twain shall meet. :(

When I first made this poll, I was hoping Hasbro's creative team would go against the grain and really invest in both Zandar AND Zarana, really surprise us this time around with a fully developed Zandar and he and his sister's wonderful lore. That didn't happen. In fact, I heard through the grapevine that they had no plans for Zandar at all. Very much like other creative teams. It's not that Zandar isn't popular, it's that no creative team has taken the time.

People still want to see Zarana & Zandar! See the poll results? We have faith in you! C'mon, you can do it, Hasbro! Keep their lore as twins alive! Bring it into this new era of GI Joe!

A matching motif beyond the shoulder armor between the twins. I would say the torn shirt and torn scarf but they made Zarana with an armored jacket, not a torn shirt, so that's completely gone. Thanks Hasbro.

What if they never do? Then your never get Zarana? Not to mention by then she could be expensive as hell. You can get her now for 25 greenbacks. Wouldn't it be easier to just get her now and maybe hide her away till she can be reunited with her friend?

There's only two previous Zandars, do you own either of those?

What's it hurt to pick her up now, if they don't release Zandar's figure for two years you might having trouble finding Zarana's figure then

Yeah, I don't think you're thinking this through, Twins. If you don't get Zarana now, you might not be able to get her later, when Zandar is released. The chance Hasbro is going to re-release Zarana in a two-pack with Zandar's initial release is slim to none. The chance they're going to re-release her at all, in her standard look, is also slim to none. If they had plans to release a retro-style Zarana, with the torn shirt instead of jacket, they wouldn't have included the 1986 retro hair piece.

So yeah... get Zarana now, or you'll regret it when Zandar is released.

If they do reveal Zandar, I wonder what he'll be like. Tattoos? An orange hair and a pink hair thing? A face like Zarana's but male? With some kind of nod to the matching shirt and scarf? I don't know, but it's all fun to consider.

I'll get a Zarana eventually.
