For those that display vehicles, I’m curious if others run into this problem. I have limited display space and I hate for some seats to remain empty. However, l also don’t like to use “named” joes for some vehicle slots. For example, I have a Whale piloted by Cutter, but who should man the two machine guns? I could use Topside & Rampart, but those are two very expensive figs for gunner slots. I decided to use some BBI figs, but does anyone else have these kind of issues?

I usually make custom figures. For my Skystriker, that is Lt. Wayne Ruthel in the back...haha. It's just a Skystriker Ace with different head and gear.
For my Dragonfly, it's just a TF Wildbill body with a Steeler head as a custom fodder gunner

These are all great. Where are the pilot helmets from on the Ace custom?

Tomahawk - Windmill
Ghost Stiker - 1994 Action Pilot Retaliator - Major Storm Phantom X-19 - Payload v3 (once I get him) Vector Jet - Countdown Dragonfly - Scoop All of my black Hiss tanks have Saw Vipers manning the turret and my Blue Hiss tanks have the 2001 Laser Vipers manning turret. The Black Hiss tanks are my regular Cobra armor, the blue hiss tanks are part of my viper squadron and they are a quick response unit (I kind of view them like Marines). |

I have four 25th Hiss Tanks. In the driver's seats are four red HISS Tank drivers. And in the turrets are four blue HISS Tank commanders.
The only other vehicle I have is a Firebat with just its usual pilot in it.

They are 21st Century or BBI helmets. I can't remember.

My Skystriker's RIO is Battle Corps Ace whom I renamed Warbird and my Dragonfly's gunner is Volga.

With the Eaglehawk, excuse me TOMAHAWK. Lift-Ticket v3 is the co-pilot, while v2 is the main pilot of the helio.

When I was a kid I apparently didn't have much imagination because I liked to put whichever figure that was on the box in the backseat, copilot seat etc.
