I miss those times wish i was a dult back then and could have bought 2 of everything. or have a time machine now and go back in time. Now all you see in the toy isle of joes is a few pegs of the same old thing

Yeah, the 80's were great, nothing like walking down the boys aisle seeing GI JOE, Star Wars, Transformers... wait, I did that just yesterday.
It seems toy companies realize that any new product sucks and the 80's lines are a good failsafe for them. Well, at Least Hasbro anyway. |

I loved the 80's. Toy lines where original and the stores had the same stock for a complete year. I didn't have to worry if I was going to miss something because it would be off the shelves in 3 months. I loved the 80's.

Another thing, not all stores had the same inventory that was controlled by a computer. You could go to 10 different stores and find different things. Now it's Cobra disguise flint and Sharcs at ALL stores.
