The question of favorites has come into question multiple times here on site, dating back well before I ever even poisoned the wells with my presence here. With a figure line that spans 40 years or so (not counting 12"), I find that question to be nearly impossible to answer. My "favorites" all differ depending on the context. Favorite Joe and Cobra characters? Tunnel Rat and Firefly, easy. Figures? V2 Snake Eyes all day and V1 Viper, Alley Viper, and Night Viper depending in the day of the week. Most sentimental? V2 Alley Viper and V4 Snake Eyes hands down- were I to choose any two figures to open and relive childhood, those would be it (and one is within sight... thank you if you're reading). How do you define your favorites in a figure line that has as deep a legacy as GIJoe has?

How can you not?
Storm Shadow is the character I like best. By definition, he's my favorite. If your favorite is changing all the time, I guess you just never had a favorite. |

Favorite is a word I rarely use anymore. Be it toys, music, food, whatever, my taste changes with the mood. There are things I consistently like more than others and things I consistently do not like, but even that isn't written in stone. Trying to pick a favorite is just undue stress and usage of mental resources for me and in the end coming up with one doesn't accomplish anything anyways.

Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow are my favorite characters, but I don't really have a favorite figure as I have tons of favorites.

Yeet is my favorite char. Even without the king fu grip.
In hindsight that a wee creepy. Sorry. Seriously though. Huge Cobra fan, but when the cartoons came out, Alpine and Bazooka were my favorites. They cracked me up. |

Favorite card art is Storm Shadow 1, but favorite figure is Storm Shadow 2. I think if Slice had come out a few years earlier and had more comic time, he might have been my #1. But it's hard to pick over Firefly 1, Alley Viper 1, Zartan, etc. Even a top 10 would be hard.

I'm biased towards figures I had as a kid that I played with the most:
Dusty V1, Shipwreck V1, Viper V1, Crankcase And biased against ninjas. Never should've been in the line. RUINED IT. EVEN THE SPACE STUFF WAS BETTER. I'M SHOUTING FLAME BAIT HYPERBOLES BECAUSE I'M BORED. Actually, I liked Night Creeper V1 and Storm SHadow V2 is really better than V1. |

Asking me about my favorite Joe/Cobra is like asking a parent which is their favorite child.
