If there were to be a Joe miniature wargame, could the prices be more reasonable than 40k?
On EA...I dunno, that's almost like asking for the game to be a cashgrab when it comes out. Or have it scrapped when they fold the studio making it. Or for it to just be bad. Honestly, I couldn't name a bigger developer I'd want to make the game, since all of them seem to make samey AAA games and/or have predatory stuff hardwired into their games. Like Rockstar's games always look fun, but their launcher keeps me from playing GTA V or RDR 2. As for this hypothetical game itself, I definitely agree on the violence/realism, and especially the quality story mode. It just has to have a Cobra story in addition to a Joe one, of course. |

Don't mention loose ends! It is still too soon... I haven't forgotten the sorrow...

I don't play games but I'm certainly aware of how popular they are so I would welcome anything that helps the brand be relevant.
I would love for Joe to be a major player again, for that to happen they need to find something that will appeal to new fans, Fortnite/COD whatever Because we're not enough to sustain a line on our own. |

If they did a GI JOE game, it better be violent and not cartoon BS. It’s needs body counts, vicious representation of cobra, IG , CG. Dark.
Joes doesn’t need to go COD route. Joes needs to go Rainbow Six route . Throughout different eras of war. Vietnam, Cold War, Iraq. --- Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars was pretty much GI Joe in all but name and pretty good. But honestly? I wish this was done back in the PS1/PS2 era, I think a nice JRPG style GI Joe game would be fun. Easy to bond with the characters and have them be individuals there. The specialties could even be their Classes and pilots be summons. Could even do two versions: Joe and Cobra versions. Most people here wouldn't be up for GI Joe JRPG though and would like something more actiony. |

You're aware this is a children's brand and character focused, right?

You realize Gi joe was a lot more gritty back in the 80’s before it went full Sunbow rainbow right? It can be character focused all it needs to and shy away from the softness. Like it originally was.

So here’s to wishful thinking. Good thing about Joe’s is everyone’s universe is different.

The video game industry is not like the toy industry. Most parents barley even check what is in a game. So blood and guts would be A ok. And there are already so many squeakers in games these days that no one would care if the game was for adults, and there were 10 year olds playing it. Which would sell the toys, if they were realistic like the game.

IMO, the goal in tone should be Beast Wars. Something fun with likable characters, but with gravity to the situation. |
