I still remember when I lost my Deep Six v2 as a kid. He fell off my kite, I had made him hang onto the plastic frame and when I pulled the kite down he was gone. I couldn't find him anywhere. |

I love Slice and Dice. The Slice Collector's Club figure is one of my favorite figures ever, it's fantastic.

I think T.A.R.G.A.T. is a great figure - loved his design and always thought his jetpack was one of the coolest things ever - especially the little gatling gun molded into it. I have a small group of them now as part of my IG forces.

"Deep Six" means a 6 fathoms water depth measure on the sounding line, or 36 feet deep, which made for a difficult salvage operation in earlier times. "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" references the distance across the earth which Nemo traveled in the story while submerged. Because a league is an old-fashioned measurement of distance that's roughly equivalent to three miles, 3 x 20,000 = 60,000 miles distance travelled. The deepest trench in the Atlantic Ocean is the Puerto Rico Trench at over 5 miles. The deepest trench in the Pacific Ocean is the southern end of the Mariana Trench, at nearly 7 miles. And we all know, nothing on this planet is 60,000 miles deep. … and knowing is half the battle.
