Regarding all the questions about Cover Girls Hair color, she was originally shown to have dark hair. The original Figure had a reddish brown color. Her first comic appearace in issue #16 also showed her to have light brown hair. The MASS Device cartoon was first aired after the figure and first comic appearance, however it was in production before plans for her appearance were finalized. That is why her hair is blond and uniform is green in the MASS device cartoon. Her appearance was corrected in the later mini-series and cartoon. Personally I like her better as a blonde as it makes her stand out more from Scarlett and Lady Jaye who both have darker hair shades, and it also fits more with her background as a model.

Ripcord flirts with Scarlett. At first she doesn't return the attention. She's emotionally locked up, and the other Joes even make comments based on that. Ripcord gets her to loosen up. That's all that happens. Since RoC and IDW are different continuities and not continuations or anything like that, wouldn't even classify 'em as adaptions, they're more like reimagings. If that's the case, then there really isn't any changes since it's all starting at ground zero anyways. |

The changes are not really changes to GI Joe because they only relate to this particular line of Joes. The ARAH we grew up with will always have Dial Tone as a guy with a stache; Ripcord as a red headed white guy and Roadblock as the go to black heavy gunner. As for Cover Girl, well the cartoon had two versions of her one blond and one red head so no biggie on that one...
