This thread is a great idea, sbartek1974. I like how you’ve made updates with additional information throughout the day today. The community can comment and provide additional information.
From the various file cards, the following might be considered: The Viper Motto: “Greed, ambition, and ruthlessness”. Cobra Viper candidates are chosen among the ranks for their “independent thinking, initiative, and daring”. The advanced training they are given includes: deep battle tactics, survival procedures, and high-tech weapon systems management. All Vipers are issued a Field Pack containing three days of supplies. The first Viper helmet design included built-in RTO (Radio Telecommunications) gear. The second (battle corps) helmet design included oxygen filters and a night vision visor. The Cobra troopers are trained to battle in the Cobra Viper Pit, a dark cavernous area buried three levels below the ground (part Barracks/part Military Facility). They are simmering with bad attitudes and big egos, itchy trigger fingers and heated discussions. Although the file cards lack the room to discuss it, we should remember the symbolic significance of calling them “Vipers”, because a viper is a poisonous snake that carries the eggs inside the body, so that the eggs hatch inside, giving live birth to a nest of highly dangerous fully mobile and alert slithering hunters. Cobra Infantry troopers are dangerous, but still underdeveloped and about as vulnerable as the unhatched eggs in a reptile nest. The Cobra Vipers emerge from their advanced training as highly capable and dangerous as the live birth reptiles of their namesake. Quote:
Battle Corps: They are equipped with spacesuits, and have been given the minimal level of Astronaut training (enough to be able to be sent up to space for sort term, but not enough to survive out there), as they considered expendable. These suits are purple, with some orange, and gray leggings.
Is there a specific source signaling that their suit is EVA (extravehicular activity) rated for the vacuum of space. Battle Corps Cobra Vipers wearing gas masks would perish in outer space, and should leave those Cobranaut missions to the Astro-Vipers.

Not me. I need to see more Alley Vipers, Range Vipers, SAW Vipers, Frag Vipers, Techno-Vipers and Hydro Vipers before they start making up new ones. I'm honestly good with the ones we got.
