Well i watched the GI Joe movie for the first time

now now i ain't talking about the new one, i'm talking about the old one (i think released 1987, someone correct me). keep in mind i don't know how people feel about it and i just know basic GI Joe info (as in i can identify a good chunk of the characters) and i got to say i loved it. expecially Sargent Slaughter, it was cool that they turned a pro wrestler into a Joe, and he was frickin awesome. (Sargent slaughter is my favorite Joe figure i got, cost me i think a dollar at the local flea market, he rules. i just need me a cobra commander figure (helmet version) and i'll be all happy)

It is my favorite and least favorite joe movie at the same time because its the only joe movie.

OH, Come on! you all loved how the Joes got their tails whipped by those Royal Guards! (which explained why cobra commanders guards were crimson)!

Admit it, the dialogue and humor (most involving Beachhead) was a win.

I loved it and still do. The opening scene alone could be a movie itself. Granted Cobra La isn't everyones cup a tea (me included) but it was still a cool Movie. C'mon Jinx handed Beach Head's @$$ to him and he says $#!+ too

Loved it as a kid. Still love it as an adult. Sgt. Slaughter really shines in the film. I think pro-wrestlers (Especially in the 80's) lend themselves well to this sort of cross-over, mainly because they're walking cartoons anyway.
