Hard to say. I liked the Valor vs Venom multi-packs (Cobra Urban, Cobra Ninja Strike), but those were originals repainted and not new sculpts. I really loved the old comics packs, especially SE, SS and the red Ninja Viper - this piece really got me back into Joe. Also the late 90's had some fun multi-packs (Cobra Polar), etc.

25th because they got me back into collecting again for the first time since the 80's and had OG packaging.
30th because the quality went way up. 50th for the great Gung-Ho, but there was also rampant part overuse/abuse and excessive repaints during that run. Still, even though they were total Frankenstein creations, I really like the 50th AVAC and Shipwreck (although I would've preferred a blue shirt on him). |

This was pretty tough, especially since I was buying figs haphazardly from a lot of these lines for years. Still, I went with PoC/30th since it has some of the best sculpts, especially for Cobra army builders, and I've used parts from the Vipers, Alley Vipers, etc. in my Marauder builds. It also sort of gave us the black and red Trouble Bubble, even if it was in RoC packaging.
I like 25th for introducing me to 80s Joe as a kid, and even RoC a bit for reminding me that I had those first two 25th box sets under my bed, which started my collection. Retaliation had the Night Viper, Ultimate CC and Firefly (I've soured a little on each though) and a Storm Shadow that I still think is better than the Renegades one, so it's good in my book. 50th was a mixed bag. I'm glad it gave us a PoC Snake Eyes that wasn't $60 (though I'll be Marauderizing him eventually), a SAW Viper that wasn't made of bubblegum (I still need one of their helmets to finish my squad though), and the Gung-Ho, but the rest was a bit meh. The BAT paint jobs were neat, so I'm happy I have each. |

Went for the Renegades line. Don't own any but, even though the character designs leave me a little cold, I quite like the articulation etc. of the figures.
Wanted to vote for VvV because the Scarlett in the movie was pretty cute for a low-poly 3D chick... but since the toy looked nothing like her (and was butt ugly to boot) I couldn't do it. |
