Oh Joe had a HUGE shelf presence here. From that first wave onwards i got characters from every wave after that no stress. And maybe.... 70% of the vehicles?

After a deep dive into Action Force (thanks bloodforthebaron.com!) about a decade ago, I actually became very interested in the idea of GI Joe rebranding into an international brand. My thought was if Hasbro "rebranded" the line under the Action Force name, they could bring in a ton of characters that could boost their international appeal. However I think it would be important that they keep GI Joe (and I also Oktober Guard too) as sub teams of Action Force. I guess my thought is that it'd be easier to sell a 4" war figure to a kid in the middle east if you had a character like Space Force's Moondancer on the shelves, or in Germany if you had Schrage released to mass retail.
I understand everyone's argument of GI Joe being specifically "A Real American Hero" brand, and the need to not want to change that. "Dance with what brought ya," right? I'm definitely against lots of things I consider fundamental changes to GI Joe and its characters, such as race swapping and gender swapping of characters, but the idea of expanding GI Joe into an international force just doesn't bother me. I guess it's because I feel like you could keep GI Joe "A Real American Hero", but they're just a sub-team of a much bigger military force. I really think this would bring more international appeal, which people have speculated is a possible reason that prohibits some of GI Joe's success. Also, on a personal level, I LOVE the idea of getting modern figures made of Action Force, Red Shadows, or even Argen 7 figures. Of course, all of this was thought up when we still had a 4" line, so now my hopes have dwindled down to just give me an updated 4" Ultimate Duke, dammit.
