And that's the main point of the ARAH line. It's the same with the GIJoe team. A lot of characters were replacements of older action figures being discontinued. Hence, Dial-Tone replaced Breaker; Sci-Fi replaced Flash; Footloose replaced Grunt; etc.

So, with the Cobras Track-Viper replaced HISS Tank Driver; Motor-Viper replaced Stinger Driver; etc.

I recognize the redundancy with the Cobra army, which is why I typically use the "Viper" moniker with my "Blue Shirt Legion" customs.
