A Demro XF-7 Wasp . . . I had no idea such a thing existed. I can see Beachhead owning one privately, but now that I've seen this I'm giving him a real rifle instead!
Now if someone can just explain that crossbow . . . Last edited by LowTech; 06-03-2018 at 07:55 PM.. |

His backpack also had what looked like a spool of rope and a folded grappling hook... I always assumed the crossbow was to shoot the grappling hook. The name Beach Head always made me think of him using it to scale a cliff and take out some costal fortification, “Guns of Navarrone” style....

Does anyone have a vintage carded Beachhead to see what his weapons are listed as going down the side of the card to the right of the bubble? I’d be curious to see if Hasbro had the rifle correct? I know they were still listing the gear on the bubbles in 86 because I actually recall being impressed with Dial Tone’s Parabellum rifle and looking for it’s name on the card before I opened it.
Thanks for posting man! Huge Beachhead fan here! UPDATE: I found a carded image on Yojoe.com and from what I can make out Hasbro has the rifle correctly named on the card.
