I'm really hoping they restore the pics. I use the site constantly for vehicle restoration and sorting figure accessories. Guess its time to pick up the GI Joe guides to have some hard copy backups.

You can still access the images via Google, all you need to do is search the vehicle you want and type yojoe after.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't realize you could still view them that way. This has me wanting to load my Kindle version of the GI Joe Guide onto my pc and phone just in case YoJoe goes down completely at some point.

I'm worried, I think this historic site is now in decline. Too many advertisements fill the page and no image of vehicles.....YoJoe :(

i can look past add's but its the one's that blink and flash that piss me off. plus i dont get why they are updating some pix when some vehicles have no pix other then box art.
i'm not going to get into it but years ago i had gone through their wants list. i had 3/4 of what they needed. contacted them and he said snap the pix and send them over. i spent a ton of my time doing this. emailed him back saying where do i send these pix and scans. got zero response back after many attempts. i went on some boards asking about how can i send them in if i get no response back from them, i got flamed and yelled at because "these guys dont get paid for it and do it in their free time..." etc etc. i said whoa i'm not yelling i'm actually trying to help. and again the insults started. so i gave up, highlighted all my files and deleted them. i've had log in troubles where it would not let me in for months, never once got an email back any time it would happen (4 times over 2 years). bridge burned. i only use them if i have to because i dont want to give them my clicks. |

It's a pity cause the vintage archive was very good. It would be great to have an archive section here on the tank.

That will only work until Google re-indexes the page. Make backups while you can, guys. Just in case.

Just a heads-up if you'd given up looking (!) but the YoJoe My Collection is working again (well at least for me). Hopefully everything else should get sorted as well.

Oh and yeah I still use it, it is a godsend mostly but the ad site popping up is frustrating, guess even yojoe is feeling the pinch and that's why they were taken over or had to do this.
